The first “Bengston Method NW” workshop was a smashing success. Sixty-four attended the Saturday-Sunday “Basic Course” weekend workshop, with fifty continuing to the Monday “Advanced Practice” session.
The workshop was held May 17-20, 2019 , at the SeaTac Community Center — a lovely space co-located with the Highline SeaTac Botanical Gardens.
As the tech support guy: Lessons learned the first time around — practice with the sound system; double-check which restaurants are open on weekends; and stay on top of the registrations queue — especially the ones that get stuck on “pending”. (I imagine the organizers, Jennifer and Helen, might have a slightly different list.)
Now it’s five months later, and it’s time to start setting up for 2020. Next year, the workshop will be in the Fall instead of the Spring. It’s going to be awesome!
